Operations Control Officer

As an Operations Control Officer you will monitor and support airport staff with an effective and optimal airport operation by performing centralized surveillance of safety, security, maintain order, guarantee operational infrastructures operability and enforcement of the rules and regulations in place. The Operations Control Center (OCC) focus is on providing an end to end process operation by functioning as a command, control and coordination center bringing together 3 key functions of the airport operation being passengers, baggage, and aircraft operation.

 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Communication & Surveillance;
  • Quality control & process improvement;
  • Keep track of daily issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or relevant experience;
  • Experience in airport operations and/or security and surveillance;
  • Knowledge of and experience with computers: including Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Projects, Access, Word, Outlook;
  • Good oral and written expression skills in English, Dutch and Papiamento. Spanish is desired but not necessary;
  • Customer oriented with good communication skills.

 

Department: Operations
The Operations Control Officer reports directly to the Duty Coordinator Operations.
