Maintenance Technician
As the Maintenance Technician you are responsible for maintaining the airport’s buildings, infrastructure, installations, and furniture in good condition to ensure continuity of operations and optimal service levels, while ensuring full compliance with regulations and internal quality and safety standards.
Main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for small repairs to the facilities, making sure that quality standards, safety and security guidelines are followed;
- Carrying out daily maintenance, and painting tasks as necessary;
- Following the work plan given by your leader;
- Reporting every day what work you have done in 1) the system (Maximo) and 2) to your leader;
- Requesting new materials and supplies when needed and report broken tools or equipment;
- Going to hardware stores to buy materials when needed;
- Cleaning and taking care of tools and painting equipment after use.
Qualifications
- Lager Beroepsonderwijs (e.g. EPB), with training or basic knowledge in construction or maintenance work;
- You have basic trade skills and knowledge of repair and maintenance work in electrical, plumbing, structural, and painting disciplines, or equivalent training.
Unit: Engineering & Quality Control
The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Civil Engineer.
