Legal Officer
The Legal Officer will assist the Legal Advisor in providing legal support to the various units within AAA by responding to legal issues in a timely, accurately, and efficient manner.
Main responsibilities include:
· Providing legal support to the various units, including in the areas of tenancy, general contract law, labour law and air law, and advising on the legal implications of (inter)national legislation and international agreements / conventions related to the airport’s operational activities.
· Handling AAA’s daily legal matters by providing comprehensive legal advice and legally sound solutions;
· Contributing to the implementation of the Legal Unit's policies, activities and processes.
· Drafting and / or revising documentation and agreements.
· Analyzing new legislation that has or may affect the organization's activities.
Qualifications:
· Masters degree in Aruban or Dutch law;
· A minimum of three years relevant experience;
· Knowledge of relevant (inter)national laws and regulations and current developments in legal affairs;
· Good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English. Proficiency in Spanish and Papiamento is desirable.
