"IT Helpdesk Technician"

As an IT Helpdesk Technician, you provide first level IT support to the entire organization. You provide internal and external users with effective and efficient software, hardware and IT service support. You play an important role in resolving the organization’s day-to-day IT issues. Additionally, you provide support and assistance to the IT unit during special projects and performing maintenance work on the IT environment.

Responsibilities include:

·         Customer Support: Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance for AAA’s desktop computing environment and corporate network, including supported hardware, software and other business applications, and peripheral devices;

·         Maintenance Services: Provide support and maintenance for in-house computer systems, including carrying out diagnosis, upgrade, repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of equipment, hardware devices and software, as well as ensuring top performance of workstations;

·         Help Desk ticket management: Responsible for opening and closing service requests; manage classification of requests; assigning and tracking of requests, and completion of requests. Carry out proper tracking of service requests and ensure resolutions to problems are documented in the ticketing system. Follow up with customers and users to ensure complete resolution of issues.

 

Requirements:

·         MBO/ Associate degree or equivalent in Computer Science with experience in a similar function and responsibilities;

·         Good and effective writing and communication skills and fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamento;

·         Problem solving skills;

·         Technical capacity;

·         Good customer service skills.

·         Microsoft Certified System Administrator and/or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician is a pré;

·         Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365.

The IT Helpdesk Technician reports directly to the Maintenance & Operations Manager.
