 Electrical Engineer

 As Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for Maintenance and upgrade of the electrical systems at the Airport as well as the execution of electrical projects. It is your task to monitor the maintenance of the electrical systems in order to guarantee reliable and safe operations of these systems. Down time should be kept to an absolute minimum.

To ensure that a yearly and multi annual maintenance plan is in place and supervise that the contractors comply with them and that critical parts are available to reduce times.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         Maintain the electrical systems of the Airport:

·         Make cost calculations, prepare budgets and control maintenance expenses

·         Assets Replacement /Improvement plans

·         Create SOW and Tender Documents for electrical projects;

·         Coordinate and execute electrical projects;

 

 

Requirements:

·         Bachelor of Science Degree (HBO/HTS) in Electrical Engineering;

·         At least 5 years’ experience in work field with electrical and electromechanical or similar;

·         Good communication skills (word and writing) in English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento;

·         Good reporting skills;

·         Computer skills, well versed in MSWord, MSExcel, Outlook and AutoCAD;

·         Knowledge and experience working with industry guidelines of project management (PRINCE2); for a holistic approach to determine program of requirements, prepare terms of reference, tender, execution, supervision and administration of projects;

·         Willing and able to work flexible hours, such as nights and weekends when needed;

·         Knowledge of NEN 1010 and NEN 3140.
