Assets Administration Manager

As the Assets Administration Manager, you are responsible for establishing, maintaining, and governing a centralized asset administration and inventory management framework in line with AAA’s strategy. You lead the team responsible for asset data quality, CMMS administration, and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate asset lifecycle information and optimal inventory availability to support airport operations, maintenance, and capital planning.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the Assets Administration team responsible for asset data, CMMS administration, and warehouse operations, including guidance, supervision, and performance management.
  • Developing departmental plans and translating AAA’s strategy into clear objectives, priorities, and performance standards aligned with organizational and departmental goals.
  • Providing leadership and subject matter expertise in asset lifecycle management, CMMS governance, and warehouse and inventory operations.
  • Maintaining a centralized, accurate, and complete asset register in the CMMS for all airport infrastructure assets.
  • Defining and enforcing asset data standards, hierarchies, naming conventions, and documentation requirements across departments.
  • Ensuring all new, replaced, or rehabilitated assets are correctly commissioned into the CMMS in accordance with governance requirements.
  • Acting as the primary authority for asset administration processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Working closely with Maintenance and Projects teams to ensure asset lifecycle needs are clearly communicated, documented, and recorded in the CMMS.
  • Setting expectations with maintenance engineers and project leads regarding timely and accurate input of asset condition, maintenance history, and performance data.
  • Providing data and guidance to support preventive maintenance programs, rehabilitation planning, lifecycle costing, and CAPEX prioritization.
  • Monitoring asset performance trends to identify risks, renewal needs, and improvement opportunities.
  • Overseeing warehouse and inventory management across airport warehouses, including inventory tracking, material control, stock level optimization, and audit readiness.
  • Ensuring inventory items, spare parts, and critical materials are properly recorded, reconciled, and linked to assets where applicable.
  • Maintain and improve procedures for receiving, issuing, cycle counts, and audits.
  • Coordinate with Finance to support inventory valuation, audits, and reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate asset and inventory reports for management, budgeting, audits, and regulatory purposes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices to enhance CMMS processes, data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Train and guide team members and key stakeholders in CMMS usage, asset data requirements, and inventory management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in all asset and warehouse activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in Asset Administration, Asset Management, Infrastructure Management, or Facilities Management.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS/EAM) such as IBM Maximo, SAP, or similar systems is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Solid knowledge of asset lifecycle principles and inventory management best practices.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong command of English, both verbal and written; Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamento are considered a plus.
  • Key competencies include goal orientation, administration, decision-making/problem solving, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure and/or airport operations is preferred.

Unit: Development and Technology
The Assets Administration Manager reports directly to the Director of Airport Planning and Engineering.
