Airside Officer

As an Airside Officer you provide services and processes on the airside in a safe and secure manner. It includes various forms of transportation vehicles and machinery. It also includes maintenance of equipment, inspecting and repairs of Airside Service equipment as well as maintenance of the airside areas. It’s important to perform Airside Services operations in accordance with applicable (inter) national laws and company rules & regulations and reports deviations to the Apron Control for further processing.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Airside Bus Transportation;
  • Inspection of equipment;
  • Maintenance of Airside Services equipment / AAA vehicle fleet;
  • Airfield Maintenance and Repair.

Requirements:

  • Mavo degree or equivalent degree or experience;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Airport function preferably with Airside experience;
  • Knowledge and experience with Airside equipment;
  • Technical knowledge;
  • Knowledge of safety regulations;
  • Skills in handling, maintaining and testing Airside equipment;
  • Good reporting skills.

Desired:

  • Driver’s license (vehicle, bus, and/pr heavy machinery);
  • Airport Security ID Badge holder;
  • Airside Driving Permit holder.

 

Department: Operations
The Airside Officer reports directly to the Duty Coordinator Operations.
